It is just a normal day for me although it is not quite for my left ankle. My ankle is likely now 'playing hard to get' when it comes to order my feet to make a move. "I crawled to the bathroom twice," I told my husband. As a concerned breadwinner who always believes that sharing is caring, he shared my hardship by purchasing a 'cool gadget' for me - a walking stick.
All this while, I thought that using a walking stick needs age requirement. But I was wrong. It is applicable to all ages and at the age of 37, 3 months++ after my birthday, I received a 'caring' gift, eventually. It is not that bad.....it is cool. When I hold the stick, I felt that I had living in this world for quite a long time. It is like I am about to retire and receive my pension this upcoming payday.
What is so significant about this stick and my walk is, I am ELIGIBLE to park my car easily. There will always a SPACE at the parking lot for my car as I am now considering (not declaring yet) myself as a disabled citizen. Well, I am unable to walk normally and I have to use walking stick to support my movement, which are for me, good enough to be reasons why I should have that particular parking space......
Although I hardly walked since yesterday, I don't really have, not even a single reason to be sad and depressed; I received a gift that cost hundreds of Ringgit, I was granted medical leaves for a few days, I can dine in my bedroom, less house chores to be done and any wish of mine is granted in no time. What else to be complained about?
